Support Desk Engineer
Burk I.T. is looking for a new engineer to join our existing customer-centric support desk team. Though I.T. experience is an important factor, this job centers around great customer service, strong communications skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the customer is happy. We are looking for candidates with integrity, reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude!
This job involves both office-based support duties as well as travel in and around the Tri-Cities region visiting customer sites, delivering and installing equipment, and supporting general customer I.T. needs.
Individuals in this position are salaried employees expected to maintain onsite office hours Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Technical Skills:

Microsoft server and desktop operating system knowledge and experience (Windows 10/11, Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, Microsoft 365/Azure/Intra ID)

Apple MacOS knowledge and experience

Desktop peripherals knowledge and experience (printers, scanners, etc.)

Fundamental computer networking knowledge

Fundamental IT security knowledge

Familiarity with server virtualization (VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V)
